Choosing books and Bibles
How do I choose a Bible?
Begin with the translation you want to read. Then compare print size, binding, dimensions, and any study features described in the listing. Consider whether you need a Bible for daily reading, detailed study, family use, or sharing.
Check the specific edition before ordering—similar covers or titles can have different features.
What should I compare when choosing a study Bible?
Look for the translation, commentary or study notes, cross-references, maps, and other features listed for that edition. Also consider readability and portability: a larger Bible may provide more reading space but take up more room when carried.
If a feature matters to you and is not described, ask us before purchasing.
How do I choose books for children or teenagers?
Consider the reader’s age, reading ability, interests, and whether the book will be read independently or aloud with an adult. Review any age guidance, illustrations, page count, and description provided.
For a series or set, check how many volumes are included and whether the listing describes a complete set or an individual book.
How can I make sure I am ordering the right edition?
Compare the full title, author, language, format, binding, and edition information. Where available, use the ISBN to distinguish between editions.
Check the written product details as well as the cover image. If the information appears inconsistent, contact us with the product name and SKU before ordering.
Where can I find Spanish-language resources?
Visit our Español category to browse Spanish-language resources. Confirm the language in each product’s title and description, especially when an item is available in more than one edition.
How do I choose a Bible case that fits?
Compare the case’s stated fit measurements with your Bible’s height, width, and thickness. Check whether the dimensions describe the outside of the case or the space available inside.
A label such as “large” may not establish an exact fit. If usable measurements are missing, ask us before purchasing.
Printed books, audio, and downloads
Should I choose a printed book or an audiobook?
A printed book lets you read at your own pace, mark passages, and return to particular pages. An audiobook lets you listen.
When comparing editions, check the narrator, running time, and whether the recording is complete or abridged, where those details are provided. Confirm whether the audio product is supplied on physical media or as a download.
What should I check before buying a digital download?
Review the file format, file size, running time, and any stated device or software requirements. Check whether the purchase contains one file or several, and whether the files are packaged in a ZIP archive.
Read any usage restrictions. If compatibility or delivery information is missing, contact us before buying.
Can I share or distribute a purchased download?
Check the permission or license supplied with the specific product. Purchasing a download does not, by itself, establish permission to copy or distribute it.
If you need a resource for a class, church, or group, ask about permitted use before sharing files.
Ordering and quantity pricing
Can I buy several copies for a church, school, or group?
Check the individual listing for available quantity pricing and purchasing options. Compare the price at the quantity you need; do not assume every product offers the same discount.
For a larger order or a quantity that is not listed, contact us with the product name, SKU, and number of copies you need.
What information should I include when asking about a product or order?
For a product question, include its name, SKU or page link, and the detail you want to confirm.
For an existing order, include your order number and a short explanation of the issue. Do not send your password or complete payment-card information through the contact form.
Returns and problems with an order
Can I return an item?
Our published policy provides a 30-day return window for eligible items. Returned goods must be suitable for resale and accompanied by the original order paperwork. The refund covers the item’s purchase amount rather than the original delivery fee.
Read the Terms of Use and contact us before sending a return if you are unsure whether your item qualifies.
Who pays for return shipping?
Customers normally pay the cost of sending an item back. The published policy makes exceptions for defective goods and mistakes in order processing.
If either applies, contact us for instructions before arranging the return. See the return policy.
What if my item arrives damaged, or a DVD or CD is defective?
Call (800) 426-3954 about goods received damaged or defective.
Opened media, including DVDs, CDs, and software, have a narrower return rule: the published policy permits replacement with the same product when a defect is established. Damage caused through misuse is excluded. Review the Terms of Use for details.
